Human Resources has been around since Creation itself. The basics of HR have not changed much, nor has the general disdain for HR and HR people.

This Blog is for more than just current and future HR practitioners. If you have ever held a job or managed people, this blog is for you. If you have ever sweated your way down to HR after being summoned there, this blog is for you. If you have ever cursed HR openly or under your breath, this blog is for you. If you have ever praised HR, this blog is for you, but we suspect you are a liar about the praise stuff.

There are lessons to be shared and learned here about how to do HR stuff and how NOT to do HR stuff. There is HR history here, as well as predictions for HR's future. But beyond HR, we hope there are life-lessons to be learned here for all owners, managers and employees as we examine the human side of HR.

We hope you will find something of interest and utility here. We hope you will be moved, provoked, and occasionally, amused. Above all, we hope you consider your time spent on this blog to be time well-spent.
